Pat Lynch is the former head football coach at Buffalo High School in Buffalo, Wyoming.
He resigned during a district board meeting Monday in the aftermath of an inappropriate “survey” that he handed out to his players on the Bison football team.
Coach Lynch was a very successful coach at Bison High School since 1998, and nobody expected his run would end like this.
Unfortunately, in a momentary lapse in judgement it is alleged that Coach Lynch issued the following “survey” to his players. Needless to say, word got out, and the coaches career was over at Bison High School.
Lynch offered the following statement following his resignation…..
“I would like to apologize for my lack of judgment and the poor choice that I made from my position as head football coach for Buffalo High School. I know that this situation has caused you pain and discomfort, and for that I am truly sorry. As a person and a professional, I believe I will learn and grow from this experience and use it to help others.”
“I appreciate having had the opportunity to coach in this community for the past 22 years. It has been a rewarding experience. I am eager to earn back your trust as I continue to serve in a profession that I truly love.”
The survey he sent out is below.
