Marti Sementelli is a female pitcher for the varsity baseball team at Birmingham High School in Lake Balboa, California.
She is once again making news for her pitching skills. Montreat College baseball coach Michael Bender is fading a lot of heat from alumni and players alike after it made the news that he offered Sementelli a partial scholarship as a pitcher for the baseball team next season.
He stands by his decision, and this is no publicity stunt. Sementelli can really pitch, and she can pitch well. Sementelli has in her arsenal a two-seam fastball, a changeup, a slider, a cut fastball and wicked palm ball. She is never going to get on the mound and run 90 mile an hour fast balls by anybody, but she can make a baseball absolutely dance through the strike zone.
Check out the video below and watch the movement on her pitches, the girl has the game.
Marti Sementelli is still weighing her college options.
