Floyd Raven of East Saint John’s mom forges wrong letter of commitment

Floyd Raven was an outstanding defensive back on the football team at East Saint John High School in Reserve, Louisiana.

Raven is probably the only recruit in the country to sign TWO letters of intent yesterday on national signing day. Well, Floyd Raven only actually signed one, and it was sent to Texas A&M.

Problem is, his mom thought he was going to play at Mississippi, so she forged his signature on a letter of intent to Mississippi and sent it in!

Both schools understood the mixup and don’t have a problem with it publicly. It would probably be wise to tell someone you are forging their name on a document, otherwise it would be FORGERY?

And they say families don’t communicate anymore!

Floyd Raven is cool with his mom trying to help and he is just laughing it off.
