Brian “Maynard” Welsh was the Soccer coach at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South in Princeton Junction, New Jersey.
According to authorities, Welsh committed suicide shortly after noon Sunday when he stepped in front of a bullet train that was traveling at over 100 miles an hour. A suicide note was later found in his car.
Coach Welsh had been dealing with marital problems and alcohol recovery issues that police believe led to his fateful decision.

Damn Welsh… You told me to never quit. You made me achieve more. I am sorry you didn’t have somebody helping you like you helped us. Be at peace, man.
