Daryl Palmieri quits at Millburn, cites negative parents

Daryl Palmieri was the head baseball coach at Millburn High School in New Jersey.
He has officially resigned, though the resignation has been in process for several days.
Coach Palmieri did not post a stellar record as the head coach of the Millers, going 23-27 in his two seasons at the helm. Palmieri did not resign because of his record, he resigned because of the intense heat that he was getting from parents. More specifically, the booster club called the “Diamond Club” that carries a lot of pull at Millburn high School.
You wonder if the “Diamond Club” was behind the firing of former coach Frank Dasti who had won multiple coaching awards and went 27-5 before he was unceremoniously canned by the school.
Good luck to the next coach at Millburn High School!
