Garrett Schlichtemeier, Ogallala graduate killed in crash.

Garrett Schlichtemeier was a standout football player and graduate of Ogallala High School in Nebraska.

He died Monday as a result of injuries he received in an accident in Auburn. Schlichtemeier was a passenger in the SUV driven by 18 year old Michael Madkins. There were three people in the vehicle, and all three were ejected during the rollover. Schlichtemeier was the only fatality.

Alcohol is beleived to have been involved. The three men were on their way to Spanish Fort for spring break.

Garrett Schlichtemeier was just 19 years old.
