Victor Hampton of Darlington is trying to blow it all

Victor Hampton is a standout Defensive Back from Darlington High School in South Carolina.

He was arrested at the school today and hauled off to jail for underage drinking.

Just two days ago Hampton signed a full ride scholarship to go play football for the SC Gamecocks and Steve Spurrier.  Before you feel bad for Spurrier, he knew what he was getting with this kid. Hampton is at his 4th school in 4 years as discipline issues have chased him away from every high school he has attended. It must have been pretty bad, because coaches don’t run off athletes of his caliber until their patience has been thoroughly exhausted.

Hampton is just 17 years old, and you hope he can pull out of his tailspin before he blows his ride.
