Johnny Smith was arrested this week on a fugitive from justice warrant. The warrant goes back to a domestic battery charge out of Jacksonville.
Coach Smith is the defensive coordinator for The Barron Collier High School football team in Naples Florida.
UPDATE: The head coach is absolutely certain that this is a case of mistaken identity, as Coach Smith was involved with football at the time and it would have been impossible for him to be at the place this occured. The school has also confirmed he was working during this incident and could not be guilty.
