Charles Coursey of Sussex Tech arrested for student relationship
Charles Coursey is a teacher and former coach at Sussex Technical High School in Georgetown, Delaware.
He has been arrested by the Delaware State Police on allegations that he had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student that attended Sussex Tech. Police said it was determined the coach/teacher and student had an apparent sexual relationship since the beginning of January and incidents happened on various dates in various locations in the county, according to local media.
Coursey was charged with three counts of sexual abuse by a person of trust, four counts of unlawful sexual contact, two counts of dealing in child pornography and two counts of obscenity.
The police have a trail of evidence from text messages that quickly became graphic in nature.
Charles Coursey is 38 years old.
Andrew McCann of Greater New Bedford killed in car crash
Andrew McCann was an athletic and academic star at Greater New Bedford RVT High School in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Tragically he died Thursday morning on his way to school as the car he was riding in lost control and crashed on Route 140. It is early in the investigation and police have not released a report on the cause of the crash.
It is unknown if McCann was wearing a seat-belt at the time, and this may have contributed to his death. Two other occupants of the vehicle survived the accident.
Andrew McCann was a member of the Bears baseball, track and football teams and was popular among his teammates and fellow students.
Andrew McCann was just 17 years old.
Tyler Harris of South Charleston officially pisses away his future
Tyler Harris was a phenomenal quarterback at South Charleston High School in South Charleston, West Virginia back in 2010.
Harris helped the Black Eagles win back to back state championships in 2008 and 2009, and he was voted player of the year in 2009.
Unfortunately, Harris may have played football for the last time after being arrested for possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance on Friday morning. Details of his arrest are unclear at this time, but he is facing felony charges.
Harris had been a member of the Shepherd University football team until he was suddenly dropped from the team in December. Now comes the drug arrest. Things are not going well for Tyler Harris since high school.
Mesquite Football coach Andrew Lott arrested
Andrew Lott is a teacher and and assistant football coach at Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas.
He was arrested Thursday on allegations that he had an improper relationship with a 17-year-old female student at the beginning of the school year.
It is unclear what evidence, if any, police have to substantiate the allegation against Lott.
Lott has been charged with Improper Relationship Between an Educator and a Student, which is a second degree felony in Texas.
Andrew Lott is 33 years old.
Lyndhurst Coach Scott Rubinetti arrested on sexual assault charges
Scott Rubinetti is the head football coach and a teacher at Lyndhurst High School in Lyndhurst, New Jersey.
He was arrested Wednesday on accusations that he had a sexual relationship with a female student while she attended Lyndhurst High School. The sexual encounter allegedly occurred between 2009 and 2010.
On top of the sexual assault charges, Rubinetti is charged with witness tampering after police say he told the girl to lie about their relationship. Along with the bail set at $150,000, Rubinetti has been ordered to have no further contact with the girl.
Scott Rubinetti is 39 years old.
Coach John Lund of Antigo facing serious drug charges
John Lund is the football coach at Antigo High School in Antigo, Wisconsin. He also serves as the principal for Antigo West and Pleasant View elementary schools.
Lund was formally charged Monday morning in Langlade County Circuit Court on the following drug charges;
*Four counts of manufacturing or delivering marijuana
*Three counts of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver
*One count of maintaining a drug trafficking place.
Lund was arrested along with three other people Friday in connection with a marijuana distribution ring. He has been released from jail on a $5,000 bond and will appear in court again on February 9th.
Speculation and early reports have it that several other school officials may have been involved with the “drug ring”, according to the allegations.
John Lund is 47 years old.
Football Star Darius Davis of Georgetown arrested for crime spree
Darius Davis was a standout running back on the football team at Georgetown High School in Georgetown, Texas.
He has been arrested in Williamson County on allegations that he became a one man crime spree in the usually quiet town of Georgetown, Texas.
Law enforcement is accusing Darius Davis of credit card abuse, assault of a public servant, aggravated robbery, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and escape causing bodily injury.
It started back in November when Davis allegedly broke into a woman’s home and stole her purse and a Toyota 4Runner. When authorities recovered the stolen vehicle, they found a cd in the stereo that had fingerprints on it that matched Darius Davis.
Police have since put him at other crimes including: robbing a man on Christmas Eve and crashing another stolen vehicle into a ditch in late December.
After being jailed on the charges, things got worst for Davis when he assaulted on officer trying to escape from jail.
Datius Davis, just a few months back was drawing the attention of several universities who were scouting his games with the Georgetown Eagles. Davis had led the Eagles in rushing for the past two years and had received all-district recognition.
A college scholarship looks to be impossible at this point if Davis is convicted of any of these allegations. Williamson County is known for extremely harsh punishment and no nonsense punishment of felons.

Brent Morris of Hazen High School arrested on sexual assault charges
Brent Morris is a football coach and women’s basketball coach at Hazen High School in Hazen, Arkansas.
He was arrested Thursday night in Prairie County following an investigation into accusations of sexual misconduct.
A female student that was 17 at the time, but is now 20, has made the accusations of sexual misconduct against Morris. It is unknown what evidence, if any, authorities have against Morris.
Brent Morris was released Thursday night after posting bond.
